So, wow. Obama is president tomorrow.
It’s so surreal. The whole thing has been pretty surreal. The hell that has been wrought by the falling tower of the economy has dampened my excitement a little just out of pure weariness, but I am really stoked. I know that his entrance into the white house won’t bring miracles right away, but everyone, even my ostensibly Republican father (a newly initiated fan) is hopeful.
I can’t imagine what kind of pressure the man must be feeling, with such expectations at his doorstep, but at least we can finally get started!
