MoCCa, Part I: Drinking Like a Lady
So yeah, MoCCA was last weekend, and I have been meaning to read some of the awesome webcomics recommended to me, as well as get through my stack of minis, but I was hit by a plague shortly after, so I have mostly been going to and from work, then sleeping/coughing.
As I begin sifting through stuff, I will have to first share the mini sharpie battle I had with Randall Munroe of xkcd:, which we did during the Drink and Draw Like a Lady. Let me tell you, that Randal is no lady! But there were some cool gals there including Rosemary Mosco and Meredith Gran. There were a ton of other cool talented ladies (and some dudes), but it was hard to remember faces in the moody red glow of the bar. I got some business cards from that as well as MoCCA, itself, and I will start my shout outs as soon as I stop being all green and plaguey.
I hope to have a better overview of our first MoCCA soon, so stay tuned!
