Rummage
The average woman spends about 76 days of her life doing this. Science says so (or at least Marie Claire).

That’s not….oh what ever, so what if I lose stuff in there, it beats carrying things in my pockets…Although that apron Ihave to wear at work does conceal my hair brush, magic decks, bag of dice, wallet, DS, tape measure, etc….
Also, funny thing I noticed in that article you linked:
>The most commonly mislaid things were keys…and purses.
It’s like an endless loop, a woman rummages through her purse, looking for her purse, which she must then rummage through to get to her other purse, to rummage through, it’s mind boggling. D8

Marie Claire is clearly science, that’s why no one buys it.
I rummage through my purse for my phone all the time, and spend most of the day thinking I left my phone at home. Stupid crackberry.

I don’t even carry a purse… But then, the time I spend finding my vest (which contains all my purse would contain) wherever I forgot it last probably adds up to the same amount of days in the end.
