Asking About the Doll…
What happens when you need to ask for an embarrassing item at a store? No, not tampons or condoms… a Twilight Barbie.
Hahaha, I got glowered at when I mentioned asking the comic store employee whether or not they had this Twilight chick doll by Mattel that his aunt wanted. I must admit, I was pretty embarrassed, myself, even at Toys R Us, where no one knows us, to ask about this doll. I found myself making sure to assert that the doll was not for me. Hahaha, the things we do!

You probably had to preorder it. I know this from my other life as a grunt for the comics distributor. They had a Catwoman Barbie come out, and suddenly 50 new accounts opened up just to order that, because Doll collectors are messed up crazy. Since that time, said distributor has made sure to put out a Barbie every six months or so, just to nab that cash. Most comic shops don’t even bother ordering it.

Mind, I was reading “Dracula” in junior high, so my concept of “vampires trends to be more old school.
