I’m with Mika. I have moments like those A LOT, so I really find these funny. Most comics have a recurring thing, so if someone doesn’t like one’s recurrent theme, they should find another comic.

Jim Davis covered the topic of wanting to eat ad freaking nauseum and made out like a bandit.
I like to see comics suggesting that I don’t have to feel at home with something just because it seems to be a societal norm and others find it a good idea. If I can laugh while I’m at it, all the better.
