Still no internet

Boy is it annoying to have no internet at home! It sometimes fades in, and as soon as I am about to do anything productive, it craps out again. Damn you, Time Warner!!!! *shakes fist*

    I hear ya. Time Warner has screwed me over like that in-numerous times in the past. My advice: Complain, and threaten to leave. They’ll usually cut you a deal.

    If you are using wireless, put a wire between your machine and the router. It works more reliably and generally faster.

    Some cable companies have poor nameservers. You might try opendns.com – they have pretty good instructions on how to set it up on their webpage.
