Tablet
I know many of my readers think I do this in MS Paint with a roller-ball mouse, but believe it or not- I do this comic in photoshop with a nice wacom intuos 3.
Sadly, however, the thing seems to be failing. My lines are getting wobblier (I doubt anyone would notice hahahaha) and it is getting harder to make accurate strokes. Kinda makes me sad, and if you have noticed, kudos to you
I am thinking about getting a new tablet down the line (when I have a job again), and wonder if anyone suggests upgrading to the larger intuos, or if there’s something better than wacom out there?

This just happened to me too! It was a genius tablet and instead of wobbly lines I had a whole ‘dead spot’ right in the middle, and ended up having to replace it.
After some research and a little advice from Shado, I ended up going with a bamboo fun medium instead of an intuos 4 (got a nice deal on a opened box one), and so far it’s been pretty great. It has a pretty decent resolution and about the same pressure sensitivity as the intuos 3′s, even some programmable buttons. They don’t do pen tilt though, I’m guessing they still reserve that feature for the intuos line.

I was reading on questionablecontent just recently about this. The advice given was basically buy a cheap to inexpensive wacom, and save up for the cintiq if you’re at all serious.
