Sex, Drugs, and June Cleaver

Many of my fondest memories of my pre-teen years involved reading X-Men comics, listening to Stone Temple Pilots (on cassette tape!) I actually don’t think I ever really gave a shit about JubiLee, mostly cus her power wasn’t so great and she seemed rather whiney.  Also, what was with those yellow gloves? Was she constantly doing dishes? I have those gloves now…for doing dishes.
I had the hugest crush on Gambit, and wanted to grow up to be Rogue.
I really loved comic books. My parents probably hoped I would grow out of it, but I think they gave up when I was still buying X-Men comics at 20. I still do read comics, but am less financially capable of keeping up with a great deal of the Marvel Universe. Maybe I should install a “Donate, so bree can read things” button.
